Windsor weirdness

There is a nightclub in Windsor called 'Liquid' with two rooms, and the music in both sucks. One room plays not-good club music. The other plays 70s and 80s stuff - I'm talking the Bee Gees, Wham and The Weather Girls here, folks. But that room has the added entertainment bonus of showing credits and clips of TV shows from those eras. Does it make me sad that I can recognise The Clangers just from the opening shot of the planet earth?

While we waited for the taxi outside a beauty salon, we discovered that the door was unlocked. We told this to a nearby policeman with incredibly long eyelashes who probably preferred sitting in the beauty salon waiting for someone to come and lock it to standing outside the kebab shop where we found him.

And then seven of us sang Lionel Richie songs in the taxi home, because that's what the driver was playing. I'm sure the taxi driver liked us a lot.

Jealous? 'Cos I got to go to a club that plays bloody awful music? *snort* It's not like there isn't plenty of good club music to choose from, but this place couldn't find any....

The weather's been cooler than Seattle, sadly - more cloud around - but not unpleasant. We weren't cold in sleeveless tops at 2.30am anyway. Or even at 11pm when we'd had less to drink and might have noticed.

It may have been nearly 3.30am, but my inner pedant still made me go back and correct all the typos. I mentally remarked on that at the time!

Why shouldn't a policeman have long eyelashes if any men are allowed to? (There were quite a few policemen standing around to choose from, we picked the best one XD)
