Among the things that arrived in the house this Christmas were some new cat beds.
Here's old man Kuro in the one I call the igloo.
We also got two reversible cat snugs that are red on one side and fluffly gold on the other. Here's Miss Yami on one of them, blearily wondering why I'm disturbing her with camera flashes.

And here's one with Yami yawning while Kuro watches, to complete the set of tongues!
Unfortunately the red and gold beds aren't very popular. People will sit on them occasionally, but they never crawl inside. I think the problem is the material they're made of - there seems to be an issue with static and the cats getting zapped.
The igloo, meanwhile, is popular with everyone, and there are some jealousy issues when someone goes to the igloo and OMG SOMEONE ELSE IS ALREADY INSIDE IT, HOW DARE YOU! I think we might have to acquire more igloos...
