Chapter Four - 'Dasshutsu' (Escape)

This one's a long chapter, and there's a lot of major slashiness really great stuff, so I've split the chapter into two the way Nightow did for the monthly releases.

Sumire found here for this part.

Page 103 (Sumire's p91). See? All about the vast quantities of Wolfwood love :-)

Page 104. I'd translate that second line of Legato's as "Do you have some business here?", but otherwise the dialogue's the same, with Vash struggling to speak, to warn Wolfwood about Legato.

But of course Wolfwood already knows, and inevitably he finds he can't pull the trigger. Wolfwood slowly turns the gun on himself, fighting Legato all the way, and Vash starts rattling at the door to his cell. Dialogue as Sumire.

Page 108 (Sumire's p136). Gun to his own head, Wolfwood yells, "Now, Tongari!!" and there's a blast of light as Vash Angel arms his way out of the cell.

Page 109. Legato screams out as he concentrates, and Vash collapses unconscious. (I assume that's the only way Legato actually got any sleep in the last seven months....) But that releases Wolfwood, who takes his moment to finally give Legato that long-deserved bullet.

Page 111 (Sumire's p99). Legato lies in a spreading pool of blood, but he's still conscious, and Wolfwood's gun turns on himself once more. He screams, and Legato is splattered with more blood.

Page 112. Wolfwood staggers through the Ark, carrying Vash and dragging the Punisher, leaving a trail of blood all along the clean and shiny floors. Livio waits for him up ahead. (We've all seen that shot of Vash's butt before, but that's no reason not to see it again XD).

Page 114. Wolfwood tries again to get Livio on side, appealing to his loyalty to the orphanage, but Livio says he has none. A cloud of thick smoke from one of the fires drifts across.

Page 115. Livio reaffirms his dedication to the Eye of Michael, and attacks through the smoke. Wolfwood dodges him.

Page 117 (Sumire's p105). Livio flips his guns around his forearms, and fires directly behind him. Wolfwood goes down in a spray of blood, but he's already reaching for the Punisher again.

Page 118. Chapel appears behind Wolfwood, very happy to finally get his chance at revenge. Wolfwood swivels the Punisher round, and fires a rocket at Chapel.

Page 119. Chapel barely manages to dodge the rocket, and he uses his Punisher to push himself into the air, pole-vaulting style.

Wolfwood fires up at Chapel, but his aim obviously isn't what it might be at this stage.

Page 122. Chapel shoots Wolfwood, and he's thrown backwards down the steps.

Page 124. Wolfwood half-sprawled in a long trail of blood next to Vash. But he's still clutching that Punisher....

So I cut you off there because Nightow did. Lots of *cough* deep friendship male bonding to come tomorrow XD.

You want me to go to Teh Pit? *shudder*

The MoB OVAs are, shall we say, a little racier than the anime. There is groping and neck-sucking, and Hayami Shou's voice to go with it ::thud::

I swear Hayami Sho has one of the (if not the) sexiest voices ever in anime *_* I almost died when I first ound out played Wolfwood because he sounds so different XD (probably the kansai) and then I got Mirage of Blaze which just made things worse (in an unbelievably good fangirlish way) XDDD;;; I will find those OVAs!

Teh Pit...? >_>;;; my username on there is "R-Chan Aka Rwar-Chan XD" if that helps XD;

I would stretch that to just plain anywhere. Hayami Shou is the reason I watched Trigun in the first place, because Yami and MoB made me a junkie. He does sound very different as Wolfwood, because he's being so OTT a fair bit of the time instead of all cultured and refined. Even with the Kansai, he's very recognisable when Wolfwood is being contemplative and serious.

I could just listen to that man's voice when I didn't have a clue what he was saying!
