Oh, it would be easy to persuade Ally at this point, I'm sure. It's more that I'm not sure Yami would take to another cat. She's quite used to having her space.
In a way, I wish we'd got two of them at the same time. I'm a little wary of introducing a new cat now and risk Yami getting upset. :/
It can be tricky with cats sometimes. Does Yami never meet another cat outside in the garden? If strangers wander through, her reaction to those might give you an idea. Though even cats that detest other cats will often accept a small, unthreatening kitten.
She used to play with the neighbours' cat when they were both younger, and that was fun. But then the neighbours moved away.
There are lots of other cats around but after the first time they try, they all know better than to come into Yami's garden. Even the huge tom from no. 49. >_>
Mostly our kitties are very nice with each other. Then sometimes the grey one plays too rough with the black one, until he hisses at him. Kuro-kun is a fan of chase play, not full contact sports!
