Some mundanity and a side serving of Wolfwood

Mum arrives tomorrow afternoon and will be staying with me for 2 weeks, so if I'm not around much on LJ I'm most likely not dead, just porn-deprived. Those of you who email me will probably find a disruption to normal services too.

I'd been hoping to get the next lot of doujinshi scans out before Mum gets here, but with the time it takes to do the commentary and everything, that's not going to happen at this stage. Just so you don't feel too impoverished in my absence, though, I'll leave you with a few piccies of my favourite assassin :-)  This time the scans are courteousy of Pistol Dynamites (or Pystol Dynamites, they're not even consistent in the spelling themselves), from the Wolfwood-centric doujinshi 'Death of Dust'. These are pure illustrations with no story attached, thus saving me a great deal of time!

I love the shadowing in the second one, yeah. I'm rather fond of the last one myself, but then blood-splattered Wolfwood has become quite a thing of mine, along with Vash with feathers. I think I might just be in trouble! 0_0

Good Job. I know the feeling. When mom came for a visit last year, I hid all the yaoi manga behind the innocent stuff. ^.^ Good thing she doesn't snoop. With my file cabinet full of doujinshi and PL Nunn pics, I think she's have a heart attack. I'm getting grief from the hubby for asking him to hang my Weiss calendar in the office. Poor baby, he's just gonna have to put up with the boys. ^.^

Nice pictures, though the fingers seem a bit long on the first one. I like the last scan the best, it has a very Wolfwood type feel about it.

Yeah - a lot of fan artists seem to complain they have difficulty with hands. The hands in the second one look a little too knobbly, kind of arthritic *g*. The third one really has the best hands.

I just love his expression in the last one - the sideways glance, the half-smirk. So hot!
