Squid Game

We just finished the last episode of Squid Game tonight. It's very good. It's better than I was expecting. Yes, there's the Battle Royale concept (and I liked Battle Royale), but it goes a long way beyond that.
The 'game' is actually a fairly minor part of most episodes. We get a lot of backstory on the people and their situations and how they came to be where they are and why they make their choices. There's also a pretty good thriller aspect, with a couple of insiders working within yet against the game system, and those angles play out interestingly.
