Okay, here's my take comparing with the Japanese.

p102 - the top part is a literal translation of the Japanese. The bottom section is looser, since the Japanese phrases it more as musings than distinct questions - I'd hazard it more directly as 'Such an important person/thing' (the Japanese 'mono' can mean either). 'At a time of adversity, what will (I/you - subject is missing) do to protect that?'

p103 - my grammar sucks, but it looks pretty close to me. 'When all is said and done' is obviously adaptive, but there's a phrase in there about 'accomplish it all', which could well mean 'when all this mess with Knives is done with'. And the word tomorrow's in there and 'I want to meet them together with this man'. I'm certainly seeing nothing to go against the Dark Horse version.
