Wild Adapter has been licensed - how did I miss this?!

Less wonderfully, it's by TokyoPop, who aren't necessarily the best people to have it, so I hope they get one of their better translators on it. They do seem to have been screwing up less lately from what I've heard (or haven't heard!) XD

EDIT: I've never used 'hopeful' before. Why does hopeful mean a pink doll? ::puzzled::

Ah, you could be right there - but I wouldn't be hoping for a kiss from that princess, she looks like she's got a beard....

I have to say that wasn't what I interpreted the frog as doing to the princess...

Translated manga, sorry to disappoint. I'm not sure if you'd actually like it anyway, it's a lot darker than Saiyuki. All yakuza and illegal drugs, and one of the main characters is a borderline sociopath.

He's hoping the doll is anatomically correct.

And there was little innocent me thinking hopeful should be another frog XD

If I have to start thinking of my mood frog as a prince in disguise, it'll make some of the other variations seem very odd indeed!

Yayyy!! That's very good news- it's a series I've always hoped would be translated. Definitely different from Saiyuki, but I think that's a good thing.

Oh, yeah - it's good to see a mangaka pull off a range of tones (and boy, does she pull off Wild Adapter!) I wonder if anyone will ever license Stigma, or if the colour cost puts people off?
