15 year old Kuro-kun has made his home in an insulated cardboard tunnel, with his chin resting on a frozen water bottle wrapped in a tea towel.


Neko-chan has chosen the floor of the downstairs bathroom as the coolest place he can find.


And Yami-chan has opted for the shower cubicle.

Seems like you're getting temperatures that we usually see about this time of year. Today's high was only 73F, which is what you would usually get. Weird climate change. Do you have AC at your house? If not, with such high temps, you might try using a cool mist humidifier blowing into the back of a fan. That's what we call a poor man's swamp cooler around here but only works with low humidity. Back when Mama-san and I lived in a garden apartment and didn't have AC or a swamp cooler, that's what we used and it would lover the temperature about 10 degrees when we used two of them together.
