Well, that's the exact problem, nobody has enough information to opine otherwise. We'll find out later whether shutting down sooner or later was the better idea! Bitching people out for doing their best might be human nature in a crisis, but it's hardly helpful. It sounds like all the planning going on in your area is reasonable.
Honestly, for those of us inclined to live like hermits and do most of our socialising online anyway, nothing much changes! I've had some work days cancelled on me because demand has fallen, but I'm not really fussed either way. I'm just as happy to be lazy!
