Kuro is indeed the black one. We didn't call him that, there was a Japanese volunteer working at the shelter when the new admissions were being named.
Boog is officially named Sigurros, because there was someone working there who was a fan of the Icelandic band. But Sigurros is a very elegant and complex name (Victory Rose indeed) for a very unelegant and uncomplex cat, and Boog suits him much better!
