I don't know, but I've never seen the streets so empty! Not only of cars, but of people too ...
A couple months ago I was by the CalTrain station and they had blocked off part of the street so they could film a car commercial. The aides were having a hell of a time keeping all of us rowdy pedestrians from crossing the street.
I was looking at the empty streets (in the background, as well as the obvious ones) and thinking they must have filmed it around 4-5am, before people woke up. Which left me wondering what the owners of some of the houses must have felt about Ken Block making that much noise outside while they were trying to sleep!
SF is certainly used to streets being closed for filming, it's not unusual there.
