These were the icons they picked:
Ah, X-Men First Class. SUCH a slashy film that inspired so many great fics, and it got me dipping back into the Marvel comics-verse. It's positively criminal that they didn't include the scene where Charles mentally puts Erik into a slinky dress and long boots in the finished film, but thankfully they included it in the DVD extras for us to make icons from 😊
I didn't make this one. Sometimes you need an icon that's just about a mood, something you can use when a friend has posted something sad or thoughtful, and Sherlock looking pensive with his violin is both pretty and appropriate.
Damn, I love Lucy Lawless. She's a fabulous actress and seems to be a genuinely good person with strong opinions who speaks her mind and puts actions behind her words (and yes, she's gorgeous too, of course). This quote of hers resonates with my approach to life - you can try to be fair and reasonable and generous with everyone, but then there are some people out there who are just arseholes and don't deserve to be treated reasonably. I decided Lucy's sentiment would fit perfectly well with Xena too, a woman who tried to do good but would unhesitatingly kick someone's arse if they deserved it!
