The President of Malawi has pardoned a gay couple who were sentenced to fourteen years of hard labour after they held a commitment ceremony.

The President appears to have more political sense than his magistrate, who wanted the sentence to set an example. Well, it certainly has now.

Well, yes - I call that good political sense in a country accepting as much foreign aid as Malawi XD
