Tornado warning! With sirens!

Of course there wasn't one, which was almost disappointing, because I'd love to see one. It did rain quite a lot late this afternoon [/understatement]. We sat out the worst of it in a bar. Some cool lightning.

Best part - rain and breeziness doesn't matter because it's still *warm*.

ROTFL I just love a good thunderstorm. I've always wanted to see a tornado but the closest one I've been too was a few miles away at night so didn't see a thing.

Yeah, we apparently had funnel clouds about 15 miles away, but they didn't touch down. Nothing more dramatic than that.

Savannah is most pleasing. The historic district is pretty as advertised (and authentically falling apart in some places too, so it doesn't seem too twee) and there are three major swampy wildlife reserves within 20 minutes' drive. Happiness guaranteed!

Oh, I love this! And as you know, we almost never get it here. Enjoy! I dream of it.

I adore a good thunderstorm, and I adore even more a good tropical-style thunderstorm, where it rains hard and then stops, and you go out in a T-shirt again :-)

Hell yeah! That's the best. I need a second home in Hawaii or someplace like that.
