Please tell me I was reading it wrong, because I could've sworn that, in the 3rd chapter, the hint was being given that Knive's was actually the kid's father, not Wolfwood.
Blergh, now you just made me read it again! Hard to say after the Exposition Fairy Sue went to such trouble in part two to explain how Vash could breed with humans. Could be the author planned on going that way as a twist. Yay.
If Wolfwood got any more OOC, he'd explode.
It's the bit where he hadn't noticed Vash had a belly like a whale and was just relieved that Vash hadn't lost interest in him sexually that really gets me!
I think the author's confused random stupidity with humor. You see a lot of that on fanfiction.net.

I had my rant on 'OMG Wolfwood's not dead' fics elsewhere just last week. You're not expecting too much of fanfiction - the best of it will meet and occasionally exceed your expectations. You may be expecting too much of thirteen-year-old girls, though ;-)
