I struggle on Sumire-less. Which is a bummer, 'cos I'd really like someone else's take on some of this! Disjointed sentence fragment Kansai-ben and I have a very poor relationship....
Page 125. Wolfwood won't be stopped by minor things like multiple bullet wounds and severe blood loss, and he levels his pistol on Livio, but he's empty. Click, click, click, and Wolfwood's not too impressed with himself around now.

Page 126. Wolfwood thinking back to Livio as a kid, his friend.

But Wolfwood's not done yet, and he reaches for the Punisher again, coughing up more blood as he does so.
Page 128. He's still determined to keep everyone alive, including himself. He drags himself to his feet, using the Punisher as a shield.

But he's only partly successful, and inevitably he collapses again. There's a fair bit of disjointed Kansai-ben thought here that really screws with my head. Something about wanting to save the younger ones (literally 'the future life') and an appeal to God and 'Is a murderer always a murderer?' I just can't pull it all together into anything coherent.
Page 131. He ends by speaking aloud, "Maybe I was wrong?" Livio and Chapel are just watching. And then there's a curl of Angel feather....

Pages 132-3. ...and Vash is the most amazing mass of wings and feathers as he throws himself in front of Wolfwood, Angel tendrils curling behind to hold him. "You weren't wrong, Wolfwood!!"

Page 134. Wolfwood all wrapped up in Vash's wings. "Heh... Ton...gari... if you're gonna wake up... you should do something, you idiot..." (That's a very vague gist of it, anyway). "...Sorry," Vash says.
Wolfwood resumes: "I'll ask you something later. I'm going to sleep for a bit." Vash looks distinctly worried at that. "It's okay," Wolfwood reassures him (or could be 'I'm okay', Japanese being ambiguous that way). He reaches up to touch Vash. "I'm not dying yet. I've still got things to do." (*cough* Gonna screw you senseless again before I die *cough*.) And it's Wolfwood's turn to pass out, handing the baton over to Vash, who turns the Evil Eye on the bad guys.

Page 135. Vash is already forming an Angel gun as he speaks. "Wolfwood, I... I can't thank you enough." (roughly anyway) "Please do stop," Chapel interrupts with formally polite speech. He's referring to the Angel Arm. He points out that Vash can't use his power without damaging himself in the process. He rambles on through the next page too, as Chapel is prone to.

Page 137. Up above, Knives screams, and more of the Ark begins to deform and become Plant-like. A huge Angel blade slices in front of Vash, who stumbles backwards away from it.

Pages 138-9. Vash looks up with gritted teeth as more of the burning Ark sprouts wings.

Elendira walks in from beneath a thick mass of wings, standing at the top of the flight of stairs. "Checkmate," she says. Then, "No. It won't be the same game..." She tells him how during the past eight months, Knives has repeated the Plant fusion. "He's become an entirely different dimension of existence."
Page 141. She says that Knives will kill Vash if he attacks him now, and tells him he should give in.

Page 142. "Well," says Vash. He looks up at her and smiles, then looks down at the unconscious Wolfwood. "This man is putting his life on the line for me." He talks about how Wolfwood is clinging onto life so hard. (Vash's expression in that bottom right panel as he looks down at Wolfwood. Just... guh!)

Page 143. Vash gets to his feet, saying that the chances of winning aren't important, the reasons for doing it are enough. "Let's go." Oh, he's pissed off now....

Vash yells, and forms another Angel gun - a really big one this time. One of his pupils has gone completely blank. Elendira suddenly starts to look very stressed - she didn't believe he'd really risk killing himself.
Page 145. On top of the Ark, Knives reacts. "Stop... don't go... Vash. This time I really will end it completely. I really will kill you."

Vash's Angel gun finishes forming and starts to glow.
Page 147. Vash is thinking that he's defending his autonomy, and that sometimes attacking is the only answer (something like that, anyway). Elendira screams, "Stop!!" (all formally polite, feminine speech patterns, even when she's yelling XD) and Vash looks at her.

Vash points the business end of the Angel gun down at the floor and blasts it.
Page 149. Vash and Wolfwood drop straight down through all the decks of the Ark and out.

Page 150. Knives sends a bunch of Angel blades lashing after them as Vash curls a wing out to grab Wolfwood. The tip of one feather just manages to touch Vash as he falls away.

Vash looking shocked. Knives looking mad. Vash and Wolfwood fall through the clouds of smoke pouring from the Ark, and are gone.
Page 153. Knives is very, very annoyed. The mass of Plant Angels attached to him form huge, slavering mouths and howl.

Tha last page is an image of the twins as kids, standing together and smiling. "It's over, isn't it...."
Okay, you all know I come with a hefty built-in bias here, but anyone who isn't seeing slash at this point kind of has to be Not Looking really hard. I mean, seriously, folks....
