Spartacus: Blood and Sand

I know I disappointed some people on my f-list a couple of weeks ago when I denounced this series as total piffle after watching the first two episodes. Well, people told us it got better, so we stuck with it, and after watching eps 4 and 5, I have to say that it has. It now has a plot that is actually interesting, and with the move to permanent sets instead of those for one episode only, the quality has improved. I do wish they wouldn't keep showing those hideous overhead shots of the Coliseum though.

It still won't be winning any Emmys, but it's no longer so bad it makes us laugh!
