Fic Wot I Wrote

The muse prize this time goes to [livejournal.com profile] andmydog, who gets a completely accidental Christmas meme prezzie because of it. Although I'm fairly sure this isn't what you had in mind....

W/V, NC-17, lots of naughty sex words - I really don't need to tell you lot this stuff, do I?

And yes, I've now set two completely unrelated stories in the same gap in the manga in TriMax 6. Suck it down, I ain't apologising for it ;-)

Even the US dictionaries list both versions. (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=focussed) It makes sense to me to spell it the same way as that great American word 'cussed' *shrug*

A language with a bastard mix of Mediterranean and Germanic origins, plus a few other bits thrown in for fun, was never going to be too big on logic, sadly. I pity the rest of the world trying to learn it....

Ha! And you bitch about Japanese and Kansaiben... *pouts* There's too damn many different versions of English floating around.

Japanese is beautifully logical, most of the time. Kansai-ben is also logical, it's just that its logic relies on you knowing all the verb ending permutations comprehensively in order to guess the parts of the sentence they mised out. Which kind of sucks for me! But believe me, I know it would be much worse if I were an ESL trying to learn Glaswegian or Geordie....
