...is when you drive to the pharmacy to get some drugs to let you sleep without a snotty nose and somebody rear-ends you on the way.

Note to 17-year old blonde girls driving Daddy's BMW - you might want to stop for the pedestrians at the crossing when all the other cars do. Preferably using the brakes.

I'm sorry to hear it, but I'm glad you're all right. The only blackly satisfying thing about being rear-ended is that the car doing the rear-ending usually ends up a lot more damaged than the car that gets rear-ended.

Surprisingly, no, unless she dropped it really quickly, and I think she was too dumbstruck for that.

Oh, yeah, the BMW is going to need pretty much an entire new front end, the bonnet was bent too *eg*
