Fic - Something of a Departure

So, the title of this one has a few meta influences here and there XD. I set out originally to write something different from my usual fare, but then that whole deal I have with plot and angst got in the way a bit, and this is what fell out

The original prompt came from [livejournal.com profile] tameiki1, who's been waiting patiently (or not!) for the better part of a year for something to come of it. I do get there in the end. Anyway, anything in this fic that makes you squawk is most likely all her fault, 'kay? XD

All the usual warnings for sex and swearing, V/W NC-17. One of these days, I'll write something that isn't....

Something of a Departure

And having crawled away from the visiting relatives (read, stayed up after they went to bed) for a short period to get this out after the betas came in, I will now relapse mostly into silence, unfortunately. From Monday to Friday, I won't have teh intraweb available at all, oh woes!

"I'm going to fuck you," Vash said, not looking up from his explorations.

"Good plan. It works better with you over here."

LOL! That was such a great line which took me by surprise while reading this. This was a great way to wake up this morning although I don't think I can take the blame credit for inspiring you to write this fic. All I did was to put a couple of "what if's" into your head and your lovely imagination did the rest :D

A sauce pan??? I. Did. NOT. mention anything about sauce pans! That was all you. *rofl*

I dearly love the interaction of these two that you seem to get just right in dialog and set up. Quite often, I enjoy their banter even more than the hot sex that usually follows. It was worth the wait.

Hope the visit with your relatives is enjoyable despite having internet withdrawals. *hugs*

Vash is just adorable in his attempts to get Wolfwood off. but poor boy! getting shot in such an inconvenient place, eh? *pets*

still, hotness to it, although I was wondering what the heck Vash was up to there. ^_^

excellent piece!

Oh my!!! That was a real rollercoaster to me...First, the description of the desert (waoo! n_n) and the trip....Then, the request for blow job!! What a Vash! XDD...next...yeah, the smex...And when Wolfie (and me too, really XDDD) were in the mood... a Saucepan??????????Crackk!!!!!! That was so unexpected!! But the explanation was very logic...Poor Vash! He wants his Wolfwood...but can“t take him! Ouch!! >___< (I feel his pain!) Good!! really good story! Please write more (I read the others, but I want to know if they finally fix the problem XD, and How!!)
Thanks!!

This is probably the best slash story about someone being fucked with a saucepan handle that I've ever read!

The image of Wolfwood riding the motorcycle with Vash in the sidecar - I'll never see that again without thinking of the Dykes on Bikes at our local pride parade. :-)

Vash *so* wanting to give Wolfwood what he needs, while not wanting to let him know what exactly the problem is with the regular way... This *killed* me.

"If it was a scratch, you'd have been yelling about it since last night"

Ha! Their banter is always so much much, and I'm glad Wolfwood is willing to go along with Vash as far as he can, but is also still stubborn enough not to settle until he gets past the evasive explanations. I liked the bit where he watches Vash sleep, with the emphasis that innocence isn't the turn on. It was sort of a twist on a typical scene that fits better with them this way.
