I feel so mean

I found a flat garter snake on our driveway today. Poor thing - it was probably just lying there in the morning sun when we reversed out of the garage, and squish -

I like snakes, when they're not flat on my driveway.

Aww.... Poor widdle snake. Was it the Lotus that done it in?

Nah, that's currently without its exhaust, should be back functioning early next week. This was murder by Old Faithful Scooby XD

*sniffs* Then the poor thing didn't even have the dignity of going out w/ style!

Hey! The Scooby's a perfectly respectable beast! More fun per dollar than just about anything else on the road :-)

Yes, but let's face it, which one would you like to be flattened by? Not every snake can claim to have been squished by a Lotus!

And I just adore that icon. Three more months to Torchwood... gah.

Ooops. Not that you were likely to see it in your review mirror. ^.~

oh, that's too bad! hopefully it won't be a too frequent occurance.

I'll be emailing you soon to touch base a bit on my visit. My mom was thinking of changing her tickets to leave on Monday instead of Sunday so she could get in one more day of hiking, so I was going to email you once she resolved that and I knew for sure what day I'd be coming. oh, and I should do some thinking about things I want to see, shouldn't I?

THANK YOU again so much for being willing to host me for those few days!

No, all small and green, and if it was first thing in the morning, probably not too fast-moving :-(

[identity profile] tiggymalvern.livejournal.com 2006-07-15 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I was about to prod you and ask if you knew were your arrangements were going to be on that.

You said your mum's going straight from the mountain to the airport, yes? I was thinking that might be the easiest place for me to pick you up if you go along with her.

There is always a place in Heaven for little snakies. ♥

But not for too many more that particular way, I hope!

I just talked to my mom and she's still going to leave on Sunday. If you could get me from the airport that would be MOST AWESOME! My mom and I were trying to think of places she could drop me off that would work for both her and you, but if you could do that I think that would be the easiest. She was even thinking of putting me in a taxi to your place but I was worried about how much that would cost. I rather take you out for dinner than pay a taxi!

I'll email you later today, this is a bit of a fly by post at the moment!

It depends on how good they are. It's not like you can kick a snake into church and make it say ten Hail Marys. Either way your snake friend is going somewhere and it's not being turned into someone's boots.

The airport's only half an hour from my place, so it's easy. I await your email!

This snake was safe from that, I think, it wouldn't have been big enough to make a toecap XD

Damn... well, somebody somewhere would probably know a creative thing to do with it. You should have seen what they did to a dried little frog at school. They kept it in a Frito bag for a prank and went around school freaking people out.

"Want one?"

"Ahh! What the heck is it?"

Ah, good memories.
