It's really weird to see this on roads I drive, as opposed to pics on the news of places I've never been. Currently they have no real idea of what's happened to the trails and bridges, but I suspect a fair bit of the mountain will just be inaccessible for the whole of next summer. And some of the trails elsewhere in the Cascades too. The road to the abandoned town of Monte Cristo that was rebuilt and reopened just this summer has already gone again, and before I had the chance to visit :-(
