...is when you drive to the pharmacy to get some drugs to let you sleep without a snotty nose and somebody rear-ends you on the way.
Note to 17-year old blonde girls driving Daddy's BMW - you might want to stop for the pedestrians at the crossing when all the other cars do. Preferably using the brakes.

Date: 2006-03-12 05:23 pm (UTC)Some advice from the police end of things--check with her insurance company and make sure that she gave you real info and actually does have updated insurance. If she gave you fake info, you have 48 hours from the accident to call the police to file a hit and run police report. If they just don't have current insurance, then it could get really messy if they refuse to pay...
Don't want to be a downer, but as a recent transplant, thought you might like the tip. Hopefully you won't have to use it!
