I remember watching MASH as a kid, the subtle nuances were lost on me at the time. Now, I think I should go back and rewatch it. As you said, the later episodes were much better written. This will be put on the back burner until we get our place back, it's still not totally mold-free, but we're hoping the third time testing will come through.

One of my favorite "older" shows is still The West Wing. It's so well-written and thought provoking. Many of the subject matter that were covered are still relevant, unfortunately, and unresolved.

Another one that I want to revisit is Wise Guy with Ken Wahl. :)
