Barred owls

Barred owl branching fledglings, with parent flying in to feed. 6.30am, low light, maximum zoom, so grainy. Also me barely out of bed and handheld, so wobbly. Still thought it was worth sharing though! That barred owl baby takes the dead thing, then doesn't seem to know what to do with it...

Grainy, wobbly....whatever. That was beyond cute! I love the little back and forth I can't wait till mom gets here with the food dance.

I've been told that we have a one-legged quail hopping around but I haven't seen it yet. We just started seeing the hummingbird back again this year. Love the wildlife, thanks for sharing!
