What's intriguing for me is the way that that Vash hears Wolfwood. Wolfwood's not yelling out loud, or he'd have spiky speech boxes. The Arks's on fire in multiple places, there are explosions going on, Vash has to be more than a bit distracted by Legato, and out of all that lot he picks up Wolfwood talking in a perfectly normal voice and knows he's coming.
