I agree with you on thinking that Tomoya would have been a better match with Kyou, or Tomoyo - their personalities are much closer. But that just makes me appreciate more how the main plotline made me believe in his relationship with Nagisa. They built it so slowly and so well, with his protective attitude towards her, that it worked. And that just makes me more angry that Afterstory screwed with them so much!
