A few Sherlock recs
So I (like probably around half my f-list, since you are all hand-selected for your good taste :-) ) have been poking around in fic for the BBC's new Sherlock. Here's a few that made an impression if anyone doesn't have time to go searching.
The Perils of Urban Warfare. Best one I've found so far. John talks to his therapist about Sherlock, and to Sherlock about his therapist. John here is his screwed-up best, knowing it, and coping just fine with his issues, thank you. Also some nice touches with Harry and Lestrade.
Like Bad Wallpaper. I find the stated timeline for this one to be straining past the limits of credibility, frankly, and it has a few annoying Americanisms that slipped through. But it's funny and sweet, and I like this Harry. And it has Sherlock at a wedding, dissecting the guests and saying Sherlock things XD
Europe, After the Rain. Short, atmospheric. Violates the accepted rules of POV as happily as it twists through time, but that works just fine for these two off-kilter people being twisted together.
The Trick Is to Make It Look Easy. Very dry, dark humour. Just how I like it :-)
Feel free to return the favour and point me at more!
