SO: Why did you leave the doors open on the Scooby (= car)?

Me: Because it smelled of squirrels.

SO: ....

SO: Why did it smell of squirrels?

Me: Because it had a cage full of squirrels in it, why else?

Because the wildlife centre needed room for more squirrels, so some of the bigger teenaged squirrels were kicked out XD

The centre try to release their squirrels over a number of areas instead of all in one spot, for obvious reasons, but they also have to have the permission of the landowners. And since I have prime squirrel habitat here, as evidenced by the number already present and producing their own teenaged squirrels, I said I'd take a batch.

The extras will most likely just go to feed the coyotes and the great horned owls anyway, since they're all a bit unaware!
